Is it hysteria or something more Pt.1

When it comes to the hysteria that still surrounds the occult/witchcraft practices there are many things that fuel the propaganda. But nothing is more powerful than that of those who came from it. We have all seen testimony come forth in social media. How an occult practice turned into a spiritual warfare that changed the direction of the individual. Many of us have had moments at gatherings where certain names invoke fear or caution. Yet what is it about these things that we give power to. As an energetic witch by nature, we learn the energy of the universe and the things inside it. But what happens when energy gets amplified by mass hysteria leading to a spiritual psychosis? The simplified definition of psychosis is being unable to determine the sense of reality and illusion. Now as witches in general we know that all that cant be seen shall not be dismissed, yet the line of investigation or obsession starts with the practitioner. Many times I see people fueling the cycle of chaos rather than investigating to determine the cause. As humans, we tend to hide things due to the fear of being discriminated against even in our communities. So even when one is trying to find the underline cause of the effect sometimes it's not clear as the information was given was minimal at best. When circles or friends and mentors are brought into the mix it becomes a community project. Some not taking the considerable risks that it can have on the individual affected. Because at the moment they feel like they are the hero of a new storyline that entered into their lives. Which in return becomes an undoubted storytelling of fables to make it more than it really is.

Before I dive into an approach to handling situations when it comes to this kind of nature in occult/witchcraft practice. I want to state that I am not a medical professional nor do I claim to be. These are steps that I personally use in my practice when someone is asking for help and to see what approach I need to go with.

So how does one determine a cause when none is being presented? In many cases when approached with these situations a method of boxes has to be checked. But the way to determine truth vs fiction is to focus on the context clues given. Including ones, self to regulate and determine the vibration of energy being output. In essence, we each have a built-in lie detector inside of us. Unfortunately, some rely on this so much it becomes paranoia that was validated by a few experiences. For any issue presented an accurate timeline has to be displayed as to ask ones self the following.

  • When did the individual notice things going on?

  • What were the events that took place before this started to happen? This one is extremely important due to the fact even a small gesture of another's kindness could of been fueled with ill intent.

  • What exactly has happened? This is not only about what is seen, but it connects all the senses into place. Because sometimes things are not seen or heard but they felt and depending on the issue smelt.

Upon asking of these things the next thing to wonder about without inducing fear or paranoia is the mental health of the individual. This is something you can try your best to figure out, yet its something that should be handled by a medical professional in the field. Now it is not to say that all things need to be determined by the mental state. We all hear or see things we cannot explain from time to time. But if it is something that becomes an issue in the ability to live your life on a day-to-day basis. This is the approach that id starts with first before going onto the spiritual aspect of things. Our bodies change over time and certain life events can add stress factors that take an unknown toll on us without knowing. If you know anything about schizophrenia the signs of it from medical research show it can show up as late as the mid-thirties.

Once you have done this step you will move on to the portion of formulating a plan that works for you and who you are helping. As with anything we do as people or as witches if the individual isn't willing to go with the plan designed to help them it will lead to no result. So all the effort put forth in trying to help the individual will be wasted time. Some say this step should be the first step and it can be structured as such. But if you have no idea if what you are dealing with is spiritual or mental then how can you help with what you do not know? The simple answer to that is you can't.

When it comes to the spiritual side of things 9/10 a lot of the issues start with the practitioner and their mentality. I've met people that think gods are their relatives and believe the stories that they weave. It's not an attack on these people who feel this way, but there is a sense of reality lost and given. In similar situations, it's like people getting a reading on past lives and being told their soul was so and so and they are amazing. These are situations in which one has put themselves into a story weaved by their ego. Some go as far as to create backstories for those who enter their lives. Giving those individuals a sense of importance that they belong in this person's life for reasons x,y and z. It's ok to escape and have fun every now and then, but the slope that these tales can lead to can be dangerous. Not only for those involved but for the perception of what the occult/witchcraft communities represented.

The first thing many practitioners talk about when it comes to spiritual practice of any kind is having a sense of self. Having a sense of self isn't about confidence or what you deem to be a possibility. But it is knowing what is true about you and your practice and knowing your core reality. Understanding some things do have explanations that can be found thru research or by simple observation. If something happens can be disproved by recreating the event or thru experimentation. It's most likely just a common occurrence that happens and isn't tied to a spiritual meaning. But if what you have to happen can't be explained or recreated and has more eyewitness accounts than just of oneself. That is when we start to have something that we can work towards figuring out the spiritual cause. Along with a solid plan to banish, cleanse and protect(B.C.P.).

Every spiritual issue we face has a level of degree and how to handle each one. Sometimes it's a simple cleanse while others take on a more invasive tactic. Down below is how I personally categorize spiritual issues.

  • LEVEL1- Level one includes the following

  1. Energy level fluctuation- This is where the energy of the room shifts and gives the feeling of being watched.

  2. Hearing noises in the home or voices that are not being seen or have no cause.

  3. Animals acting strange(barking, whining, growling, acting sporadically.

  • LEVEL2- Level two includes the following

  1. Objects being thrown inside the home

  2. Dreams- Being attacked in dreams by a force either seen or not seen.

  3. Seeing Figures inside the home that either appears in black mass or are fully visible.

  • LEVEL3- Level three includes the following

  1. Implanted thoughts of harm to one's self or another

  2. Personality shifts with no memory

  3. Things that take place that is not possible by the laws of physics as we know them.

Part 2 will be coming in February
