We are always growing and changing , so how can we help empower each other? In many companies its not uncommon to have team building events. It helps build teamwork and get us into working as a unit .Whenever you get multiple people in group situations eventually down the road issue or concerns will arise. It can be something small as never on time to forgetting to bring important supplies at meetups. Does it mean that we should hold a thunderdome moment and see who wins? As fun as it may seem it's not a viable option for any group that wishes to stand the test of time. We've talked about nipping issues in the butt in previous blogs on here , but what can we do for team building.
One of the ideas i came up with to help with my group is a scavenger hunt with a ritual twist at the end. Pick a few local pagan shops within your area and create a list of supplies that they have to find as a group. But instead of handing over a list because that would be to easy . Design a riddle for them to solve Or a question that could only have one question and after each shop give the next location. To ensure teamwork within the scavenger hunt set up with items everyone is familiar with but only one member has vast knowledge of. This in return will help build teamwork and show the value that each member has within the group. At the last location once all the items have been acquired have one last question to send them to the last location. At the location Have the members within the group present the items. This is when you bring out a paper of the ritual that goes with the items they were collecting. Ritual should be geared towards friendship and teamwork having one item per member to add towards the ritual. When doing so have them think about the day and how it felt when they started verses after. This adds the teamwork energy and bonding experience to the ritual. But this is just one of the many ways you can build a stronger bond within your group.
Other ideas one could use can be as simple as writing 10 facts about each other and throwing them into a hat. Having one person read it and have everyone else guess who that experience or talent belongs to . Another great idea is going out and doing something as a group and pairing up people who normal aren't paired up . For instance lets say you go bowling , split people into teams and make it a fun competitive game. After each game rotate players. No matter what you and your group do to build that bond between each of you make it fun. Because in the end we all found the path because it called to us and was fun and filled with magick. As people we will always get irritated with people no matter how close or far our bonds are. Because we are all unique individuals working towards being a collective towards the goal of spiritual growth.
